Motivational Interviewing is an interviewing technique aimed at eliciting changes by first asking questions that are sincerely driven by the desire of understanding people fears and desires.

For example, when a vaccine whisperer speaks with a no-vax mother, he could ask questions like:

  • How do you feel about non-vaccinating your kids?
  • What were your primary sources of information and how did you get to that conclusion?
